Soul Foundation engaged Runtime Verification to audit the Soul Protocol, a cross-chain lending platform designed to unify liquidity across EVM chains. Over 15 weeks, we reviewed both the protocol’s high-level design and Solidity implementation, using formal verification tools to check key invariants. We identified several areas of concern related to address consistency across chains, particularly with account abstraction wallets, and recommended improving user guidance and test coverage. While the core logic is sound, we advise further auditing once the implementation stabilizes to ensure complete coverage.
