Golem Foundation engaged Runtime Verification Inc. for a three week security audit of the Octant V2 Core smart contract system, from February 3d to February 24th, 2025. The review focused on fund security, access control, protocol correctness, and system robustness, with special attention to deposit logic, asset-to-share ratios, and voluntary lockups. Runtime Verification combined manual code review, dynamic analysis, and property-based testing, formalizing key protocol invariants where applicable. The audit confirmed that Octant V2 Core operates with strong correctness and resilience guarantees, with detailed findings documented in the relevant sections.
